Weeknote January 25 – 29
Monday
I spent the morning pulling old content from over there to this better place over here and tried to streamline some…stuff. The Co-op has stuff everywhere. I edited our Open Collective profile, which is a place we can ask people/organizations to sponsor some of the random projects we have. There’s plenty more to be done there.
In the afternoon, I started managing our new Catalyst Definition project and penned a blogpost about our acceptance. After that, I edited Chapter 6 of the Maybe Zombies audio book.
Tuesday
Tuesday morning I had a chat with an exec thinking about culture in his organization. Then I sent a mess of links before shifting gears to other co-op business development and marketing initiatives. I had a stroke of productivity in planning our participation in the Catalyst Definition program, and started to wrap my brain around the bigness of it.
Wednesday
On Wednesday I participated in the Outlandish Sociocracy Workshop to help the co-op find a better decision making process. The workshop was excellent and I marveled at the level of EQ my fellow learners showed. Unfortunately, I had to leave in the middle of the afternoon session to participate in the Catalyst Definition program kickoff, but I still got a lot out of the few hours I was able to attend.
Thursday
I YouTubed medical term pronunciations and fixed my sad mispronunciations in Chapter 6 of Maybe Zombies, then recorded half of Chapter 7. I’m behind on my audiobook because I oversimplified what it takes to read and record an entire book. I then tried to write this week’s newsletter, fumbled with that and updated these weeknotes instead. In the afternoon, I lead an internal kickoff call to bring my cooperators onboard with our new project, and then got started organizing all the things.
Friday
I finished writing my newsletter, forgot to publish these weeknotes, and had to go back and edit the newsletter to include them. Next I’ll wrap up a few loose ends on this week’s workload…
Keep going with the weeknotes, Laura!
